ManyBabies NYC (MBNYC) is a place to connect families to other community resources. We are dedicated to constructing partnerships between other organizations to parents, families, professionals and members of the community that enhance the lives of our children with special needs.
Every diagnosis is unique to each family. MBNYC help educate families on their child’s disability, special education, federal laws and other related topics. We provide an informative series of workshops, and panel discussions of attorneys, authors, doctors, therapists, and experts in the special needs community.
MBNYC help parents develop the expertise, dexterity, and confidence to advocate for their children to obtain a free and appropriate education. It is important to know your rights and to educate yourself on your child’s unique way of learning.
This is a network of parents who answer questions, share their personal experiences, and help families deal constructively with the range of challenges they face. The combined expertise of the facilitators and the personal experiences of the participants provide a strong sense community, resources, strategies, and emotional support.
